Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 July 2026

This policy explains how Tall House Building Systems Pty Ltd trading as IngressIQ (“IngressIQ”, “we”) handles personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It applies to the IngressIQ web and mobile apps and reports (the “Service”).

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your name, email, password (stored hashed), and organisation details.
  • Inspection content: the site addresses, answers, measurements, photos, and notes you record. Site addresses and photos may incidentally contain personal information about third parties (for example, a property you inspect); you are responsible for having the right to record and use it.
  • Billing information: handled by Stripe. We receive subscription status and the last details needed to manage your plan; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical information: basic logs (such as IP address and timestamps) needed to run and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

To provide the Service (run inspections, generate reports, host photos), to authenticate you and secure accounts, to process subscriptions, to send service and account emails (confirmation, password reset, team invites), and to maintain and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How it is stored and shared

Your data is held in our self-hosted database and file storage on infrastructure located in Australia. We use a small number of processors to run the Service: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Cloudflare (network and delivery). Data may be accessed by these providers only as needed to provide their function. We do not otherwise disclose your personal information except where required by law.

4. Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or de-identify it, unless we must retain it by law. When you delete your account we retain a one-way hash of your email address to prevent repeated use of the free trial; it cannot be reversed to your email or used to contact you. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and per-organisation isolation so one organisation cannot read another’s data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

5. Your rights

You may access and correct your personal information from your account, or by contacting us. You can delete inspections and photos in the app, and cancel your subscription at any time. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account data, or to make a privacy complaint, contact us below. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

6. Contact

[email protected]. We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be notified in the app or by email.
